Seasons in life

Seasons in life

There are seasons in life when everything feels like too much. When the noise of the world, the ache of the past, and the weight of unspoken emotions converge into a storm that feels endless.

I’ve lived through many of these storms.

Some quiet and invisible to the outside world. Others loud, shattering, impossible to hide.

And the truth is, when you’re in it, you don’t know how you’re going to make it through. You’re just breathing through the next moment, the next wave, the next tear. You show up for your child. You keep your appointments. You make coffee. You cry in the shower. You hold yourself together, and sometimes you fall apart.

But then, something shifts. Not all at once. Quietly.

You wake up one day and notice the sun is rising again, and this time, you can actually feel its warmth.

You laugh without guilt.

You stop apologizing for your softness, your needs, your truth.

You begin to honor your scars as part of your becoming.

That’s the thing about healing, it doesn’t make you who you were before the storm.

It transforms you.

As Murakami wrote,

“And once the storm is over, you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.”

I share this because I see you.

The woman in the thick of her storm, doubting her strength, feeling broken, exhausted, afraid of falling apart completely.

I know that place intimately. And I want you to know: you are not alone.

You’re not too much. You’re not behind. You’re not broken. You’re on the right path. Trust this journey!

This is why I do the work I do.

Because I believe in your healing.

Because I know that inside you lives a fierce, tender, wise woman who is aching to be heard, held, and remembered.

Because I want to walk with you through your storm, not to fix you, but to hold the light while you remember your way back home to yourself.

You are not meant to survive this alone.

Your healing is not a return.

It’s a rebirth.

And I am here to remind you: you can do this!

With warmth and care, 🤍
