There are days when you need to remember this

There are days when you need to remember this

There are days when your mind feels loud, your body is tense, and everything inside you wants to retreat, fix, control, or shut down.

When you’re overwhelmed, triggered, overthinking, or feeling like you’re slipping into old patterns, pause. Take a breath.

Let me remind you of a few truths your nervous system sometimes forgets:

🤍A hard day does not mean your whole life is falling apart. Painful moments skew our perception, but they are moments, not definitions. They will pass.

🤍Not every thought your mind creates is true. The nervous system scans for danger and sometimes interprets discomfort as catastrophe. You don’t have to believe everything you think.

🤍Your feelings, no matter how intense or confusing, are valid. They may not always reflect the full truth, but they are always real and worthy of compassion, not judgment.

🤍The only way through discomfort is through. Avoidance, numbing, or pushing it down might offer temporary relief, but healing happens in the gentle meeting of what hurts. Remember this when you feel the pull to run away.

🤍Your worth has never been dependent on how much you do, how well you cope, or how perfectly you perform. You are enough even when you feel messy, afraid, or undone.

🤍Nothing stays the same forever, not the pain, not the fear, not the stuckness. Even when it feels permanent, change is already moving beneath the surface. Take a deep breath. Practice patience.

🤍You were not meant to carry it all or be everything for everyone. Being human is enough. You don’t have to earn your right to rest, receive, or take up space.

🤍Be kind with yourself. The tone you use with your inner world matters. When you speak to yourself with compassion, you strengthen the part of you that knows how to rise, regulate, and begin again. Practice self care. You will stay with yourself for all your life journey. Be a nice companion for yourself.

🤍You are not alone. Asking for help is not weakness, it is courage. Connection co-regulates what isolation magnifies.

🤍Let yourself focus on what is within your control: your breath, your choices, your body, this moment. You are allowed to release what is too heavy, too far ahead, or not yours to hold.

When your nervous system spirals, when the world feels too much, when your thoughts become loud or your chest feels tight, come back to these truths.

You don’t have to have it all figured out to be worthy of love, support, and gentleness.

Even in the midst of dysregulation, you are not broken, you are human, and you are doing the best you can with what you carry.

May you remember that softness is not weakness, needing help is not failure, and tending to yourself is not selfish, it is healing.

With care and presence,

Aniela🤍
