Individual Support Rooted in Safety, Presence, and Self-Understanding

I offer individual sessions grounded in presence, nervous-system awareness, and compassionate self-understanding.

This work is offered in a non-clinical, supportive, and educational context, informed by decades of clinical psychology training and trauma-sensitive practice. It is designed for adults who want to slow down, understand themselves more deeply, and relate to their inner experience with greater safety and clarity.

Sessions are available in person in Traverse City, Michigan, and online.

Individual Sessions

A calm, relational space for slowing down, reconnecting, and exploring your inner experience — at a pace that feels safe.

In individual sessions, we work gently and collaboratively, honoring your pace and inner signals. Rather than fixing or diagnosing, the focus is on understanding patterns, listening to the body, and cultivating a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

People often seek individual sessions when they want to:

  • feel more steady and grounded within themselves
  • understand long-standing emotional or relational patterns
  • slow down from chronic stress or inner pressure
  • reconnect with their body, emotions, and intuition
  • navigate life transitions with more clarity and presence

This work draws from Compassionate Inquiry–informed perspectives, mindfulness, somatic awareness, and relational presence. Sessions are guided by curiosity, consent, and your own intention.

Support for Mothers

A supportive space for mothers who want to parent with presence — without losing themselves.

Many mothers come to this work wanting to:

  • respond rather than react
  • understand their own triggers and emotional patterns
  • create more emotional safety in their families
  • care for their children while also honoring their own needs

This space supports reflection, awareness, and nervous-system steadiness — helping you meet motherhood with more compassion for yourself and your children.

Relational & Connection-Focused Support

A space to explore how you relate — to yourself and to others.

This work often supports people who are:

  • noticing repeating relational patterns
  • wanting more clarity, honesty, and boundaries in relationships
  • learning to stay connected without abandoning themselves
  • exploring intimacy, attachment, and emotional safety

Rather than focusing on fixing relationships, the emphasis is on self-connection, awareness, and choice — which naturally influences how we show up with others.

Body-Based & Nervous-System-Informed Support

A gentle approach to reconnecting with the body and inner signals.

Some people seek this work because they:

  • feel disconnected from their body
  • live with chronic tension or overthinking
  • struggle to rest or feel at ease
  • sense that their body is holding something words alone can’t reach

Through mindful attention and somatic awareness, this work supports listening to the body with curiosity and care — allowing steadiness and regulation to develop gradually.
